In this workshop, educators will explore recent (and surprising!) research into the social and emotional aspects of giftedness and its implications for designing effective services for advanced learners. Educators will gain practical strategies to cultivate psychosocial skills within rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum. Participants will be guided to identify strategic opportunities for developing psycho-social skills associated with academic and career success and personal fulfillment within district MTSS frameworks and a comprehensive continuum of gifted services.
Special Guest: Eric Calvert, Associate Director, Center for Talent Development, Northwestern University
