The film that many educators have used for professional development for years, "Immersion,” plunges the audience into the visceral experience of how a Newcomer EL student struggles to fit in at his new school in the United States. Join us and Luis Bautista (AKA-Moises) to learn about the "Immersion” film and the story behind it. Luis will share his story about his journey to the United States and how the film inspired him to become an activist. Learn about what he is up to now and to have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with Luis!
