The ESC is working with Columbus-area employers to collaborate virtually with four Columbus City Schools west side middle schools exploring in-demand industries, occupations, and career pathways. These employers are providing remote-workplace tours, personal experiences, and conversations about local career opportunities across multiple sectors with students. The in-demand occupations that will be shared include transportation, manufacturing, logistics, workforce development, and technology. In coordination with the ESC, employer engagement with Hilltonia, Starling, Wedgewood, and Westgate Schools will begin in January and continue throughout the second semester.
