Post-Secondary Transition Coordination
Transition specialists work closely with educational teams to support school-to-work transition activities and services to students with disabilities. Services may include the development of work experiences, employability skill development and linkage to adult agencies and post-secondary educational opportunities.
Transition specialists are qualified and licensed specialists who understand the needs of students with disabilities transitioning from school to work and are knowledgeable of community services.
Flexible programming, service and employment options are supported to meet the specific needs of the district.
