Digital Badges

The ESC is now offering and awarding professional learning digital badges for participants in ESC coursework. Digital badges are visual symbols of accomplishment, can be awarded for any definable achievement, and are earned in many learning environments, games, or the workplace.

Through a partnership with Badgr, ESC professional learning participants will receive a digital badge for completed coursework and are then able to use the Badgr platform to capture and share a complete record of digital badges achieved.

Digital badges are currently available for ESC courses in Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Slides, and Growing with Canvas and will soon be available for the ESC’s Equity Institute and Project Zero Community of Practice. More courses also will be added moving forward.
