College Credit Plus | Teacher Credentialing


Expanding College Credit Access in Central Ohio Schools: The Educational Service Center (ESC) of Central Ohio is excited to announce our participation in the College Credit Plus Teacher Credentialing Grant, designed to increase the number of credentialed high school teachers who can offer CCP courses directly in their schools.

What this means for you:

HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS

  • Earn a fully funded graduate credential to teach CCP courses
  • Receive mentorship & professional learning support
  • Open doors for students to earn college credits without leaving high school

Next Steps:

  1. Make sure you meet all requirements:
  2.      a. Teachers must have at least a master's degree in the discipline to be eligible.
         b. Committing to this opportunity includes committing to completing all 18 credit hours before the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
2. Check with your administration team to see if the content area in which you would like to be credentialed will be offered at your school.
3. Complete this Intent to Apply form by Sunday, March 21st. Please note that completing the Intent to Apply does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

Next Steps:

  1. Identify teachers in your district who may qualify for the program.
  2. Support them in applying for fully funded graduate coursework.
  3. Work with the ESC to expand CCP offerings for your students.

  • Expand your reach in high school dual-enrollment programs
  • Support teacher credentialing through structured graduate pathways
