College Credit Plus | Teacher Credentialing


Expanding College Credit Access in Central Ohio Schools: The Educational Service Center (ESC) of Central Ohio is excited to announce our participation in the College Credit Plus (CCP) Teacher Credentialing Grant, designed to increase the number of credentialed high school teachers who can offer CCP courses directly in their schools.

What this means for you:

HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS

  • Earn a fully funded graduate credential to teach CCP courses
  • Receive mentorship & professional learning support
  • Open doors for students to earn college credits without leaving high school
Benefits of Participating 
  • Cost-Efficient Pay Scale Increase: This program covers the cost of textbooks and tuition for the 18-credit hour pathway.
  • Professional Networking: Receive mentorship and professional learning support.
  • Directly Increase Student Access to Post-Secondary Credentials: Open doors for students to earn college credits without leaving high school.
Next Steps:
  1. Make sure you meet all requirements:
    1. Eligible teachers must have at least a master’s degree.
    2. Participating teachers can commit to completing all 18 credit hours before the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
  2. Confirm with you administration if your desired CCP credential will be offered at your school.
  3. Contract your administrator for the Intent to Apply form link. Submit by Sunday, March 23, 2025. Completion does not guarantee program acceptance.
