Pre-Apprenticeship Program Support

Pre-apprenticeship programs are one way districts and schools can offer rich, engaging opportunities to all students to help them plan for their future careers. The ESC works collaboratively with public agencies, schools, districts, and private businesses to create programs in the following industry sectors: architecture and construction; education and training; hospitality and tourism; information technology; manufacturing; and transportation, distribution and logistics.

The ESC received approval from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Service (ODJFS) to create and expand several pre-apprenticeship programs within Central Ohio districts and schools. We are deeply committed to helping districts and schools create pathways that not only give students the skills they need for in-demand jobs after high school graduation but also respond to the economic needs of local businesses and their communities.
