The ESC offers background checks and fingerprinting services as all employees working in an educational setting in the State of Ohio are required to submit to a periodic background check prior to employment.

The ESC issues certificates to school bus and van drivers employed by local and exempted village school districts that participate in the ESC consortium.

COHRD is a professional network offered to Central Ohio school district human resource professionals focusing on relevant topics such as legal and legislative updates, licensure and best practices for effective school personnel administration.
The ESC provides employment-related services and consultation to assist districts and agency partners with various support functions spanning the lifecycle of full- and part-time employees as well as substitute employees.
The Frontline Education User Group Network offers users of Frontline Education K-12 administrative software products an opportunity to interact with Frontline Education staff as well as other district and school users of the software to troubleshoot and enhance product use.
The ESC uses an online hiring portal called ESCHires to initiate employment requests from client school districts and agencies.
The ParaPro Assessment measures the skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math possessed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals.
